Where can I find these Berber peel and stick carpet tiles.
Carol at November 2, 2007 8:07 AMIt varies by region but big-box stores like Home Depot and Lowes carry peel-and-stick carpet tiles. Carpet warehouses and discount centers for flooring products carry carpet tiles too. The Berber aspect of that will be dependent on the store because of its clients' styles and choices.
Online is a good place to look as well.
Let us know what you find.
The Flooring Lady at November 2, 2007 10:11 AMI can't seem to find any stores that carry carpet tiles in stock in the new york metro area (queens county). I hesitate buying the carpet tiles sight unseen because most cannot be returned. Even Home depot sells the carpet tiles, on-line only with free shipping however the cannot provide sa sample. If I am unhappy with the product quality, I must pay to return the order.
pAT at October 1, 2009 7:14 AMPat,
I do not know of a store in the New York Metro Area that would carry them.
I have seen the carpet tiles also at department stores like Pamida and Wal-mart. You may also be able to find them at a flooring/carpet store.
The Flooring Lady at October 2, 2009 9:53 AMWILL THE "GLUE BACK CARPET" STICK TO A PARTICAL BOARD SURFACE?
lARRY at October 24, 2009 11:37 AMLarry,
I would use a sealer or primer before using the peel and stick on particle board.
Even a coat of paint will help seal the particle board and help the carpet stick.
